On Saturday evening, January 9, 2016, the Valley Arts Alliance produced the Season 4 Willow episode of Alaska Home Companion—A Frontier Variety Show!, a rendition of a live radio broadcast from the golden age of Alaskan radio, with skits, music, and dance acts, similar to the popular Prairie Home Companion radio show on NPR.
Alaska Home Companion—A Frontier Variety Show! features interesting stories by Alaskans about the best, the worst, and the silliest of everyday living in Alaska. The Season 4 premier episode featured the Roving Reporter, Mom and Louie, Between 2 Berms, as well as news from Lake Willowa and Mukluk Radio.
Featured guests introduced by Randi Perlman were the Alaska Polka Chips, consisting of Marge Ford and Patti Gersich; the Borealis Dancers, consisting of Gini Bitzen, Veronica Farnsworth, Georgie Hollander, and Suzanne Oliveri; Skip Davenport; Dave Glenn; Pam Huyck; Terry Koch; Niki Pease; Hillary Saffran; John and Joe Stroup; and Carmen Summerfield.

On Sunday afternoon, January 7, 2018, the Valley Arts Alliance produced the Season 6 Willow Episode of Alaska Home Companion—A Frontier Variety Show!, a rendition of a live radio broadcast from the golden age of Alaskan radio, with skits, music, and dance acts, similar to the popular Prairie Home Companion radio show on NPR.
Alaska Home Companion—A Frontier Variety Show! features interesting stories by Alaskans about the best, the worst, and the silliest of everyday living in Alaska.
The Season 6 Willow episode featured Guy d'North—Private Eye, Mark Twain, Smart-Phone Yoga, Rhubarb Advisory Board, The Sommelier and news from Lake Willowa. This episode was “sponsored” by a variety of old-time Alaskan merchants.
