"Cycle for the Arts 2009"

On Saturday, September 12, 2009, the Valley Arts Alliance concluded their annual “Cycle for the Arts” event with a “Victory Lap Celebration” at the Party Store on the Palmer-Wasilla Highway.
“Cycle for the Arts” started Wednesday, September 9 when volunteer cyclists began to accumulate mileage to fulfill their pledges for the Valley Arts Alliance.
At 2pm on Saturday, the cyclists met at The Frontiersman office on the Palmer-Wasilla Highway and began to cycle their "Final Lap" along the Palmer-Wasilla bike path to the Party Store and the Victory Celebration.

On Saturday, September 12, 2009, the Valley Arts Alliance concluded their annual “Cycle for the Arts” event with a “Victory Lap Celebration” at the Party Store on the Palmer-Wasilla Highway.
“Cycle for the Arts” started Wednesday, September 9 when volunteer cyclists began to accumulate mileage to fulfill their pledges for the Valley Arts Alliance.
At 2pm on Saturday, the cyclists met at The Frontiersman office on the Palmer-Wasilla Highway and began to cycle their "Final Lap" along the Palmer-Wasilla bike path to the Party Store and the Victory Celebration.

At noon on Saturday, September 11, the cyclists met at the Palmer Ice Arena and began to cycle their "Final Lap" along several routes in the Mat-Su Valley.
During the day, various artists demonstrated and displayed their art, and Sahara Storm Tribal gave a special performance, making the day a perfect blend of Cycling and Art!
